Adult Immunizations

Introduction
Many people think immunizations are only for children, but it is important to remember that adults need immunizations as well.  Some immunizations that are received in childhood may require booster doses as an adult, or may have been missed entirely in childhood. Others are given only to adults. Staying up-to-date on all recommended immunizations will help keep you and the people you love healthy.

More Information
Adults can receive vaccinations at their doctor’s office and at some pharmacies. Public Health provides certain vaccines to eligible adults. Please contact a public health nurse to learn about these vaccines and eligibility requirements.
