WI Veterans can have “Veteran” printed on their Driver’s License. First stop by your local CVSO with a copy of your DD214 and photo ID. The CVSO needs to verify the eligibility of the Veteran before he or she can go to the DMV to renew their driver’s license.
The Wisconsin Veterans & Surviving Spouses Property Tax Credit provides eligible 100% Service Connected (Permanent and Total) veterans and unremarried, surviving spouses, a refundable property tax credit for their primary, in-state residence and up to one acre of land.
The WI DNR would like to show our veterans our appreciation by extending some privileges that may make it easier for them to enjoy some of their favorite past times, such as parks and trails passes, small game hunting licenses, and fishing licenses. Special permits are available for: Purple Heart Recipients; Returning Veterans; Disabled Vet/ Former POW; and Active Duty, National Guard or Reserves.
