Wisconsin Well Woman Program
Introduction
The Wisconsin Well Woman Program (WWWP) provides preventative health screening services to woman with little or no health insurance coverage.  Age and income guidelines are required to qualify for this program.  The WWWP pays for:
  • Enrollment visit with a public health nurse to arrange for appointments with medical providers
  • Preventive medical exam which may include
    • Health history
    • Manual breast exam
    • Mammogram
    • Pelvic and pap test
  • Specific follow up tests to identify breast or cervical cancer
  • For breast or cervical cancer diagnosis, you may be eligible for Wisconsin Well Woman Medicaid waiver to cover medical bills if underinsured

There is no monthly cost, copayment, or deductible for the Well Woman Program.  Not all covered services are available from every provider.

Eligibility
To be eligible for the Wisconsin Well Woman Program:
  • Must be a woman between ages of 45-64
  • Income is within the Program guideline limits
  • Have no health insurance or insurance that covers routine checkups or screenings
